Rocha opened fire as Jaros drove on I-70 with his wife and three children just west of Exit 288, near the intersection with East Colfax Avenue, in Aurora. Investigators said Rocha and three other drivers were blocking traffic on I-70 so that Rocha could race his Mustang — which he had bought earlier that day — against one of the other drivers.
