The Ohio Department of Transportation unveiled plans Monday to replace the state Route 8 bridge that spans the Little Cuyahoga River valley and links Akron with its northern suburbs. The massive project — estimated at more than $120 million — would be a traffic nightmare for motorists. But don’t worry, there’s plenty of time to prepare an alternative route if you want to avoid the construction zone.“We’re looking at sometime beyond 2020,” ODOT spokesman Brent Kovacs said.
