Odyssey Gastropub Owners Opening Second Bar, Café In Downtown Colorado Springs

Odyssey Gastropub co-owners Tyler Sherman and Jenny Schnakenberg had planned to open their second eatery, The Bench, 424 S. Nevada Ave., in December. The bar and café will be in the former Garrison Tavern. "When we started doing construction, that meant inspections, which led to learning that some of the things listed on the building plans did not exist or needed repairs," Sherman said. A grease trap was on the building plans but wasn't actually there, for example. "Putting that in has taken a lot longer than expected," he said.
