Office Depot, Officemax Said To Be In Merger Talks

A deal to combine the office-supplies stores could come this week. Representatives of the chains declined to comment about the reported talks.Office Depot Inc. and OfficeMax Inc. are discussing a merger and a deal may be possible this week, a person familiar with the matter said.
