Rex Evans, chief of police with the district's police department, said a Liberty County sheriff's deputy found seven students off-campus behind a nearby shopping center about 8:15 Wednesday morning. The deputy called the district's police department, and officers took the students back to the district's middle school and high school. First responders from four agencies arrived on scene to help out Cleveland ISD police, taking four of the students to Kingwood Hospital.
