By Brandy McDonnellFour Oklahoma casting calls have been announced for an eagerly awaited FX pilot from Oscar-nominated New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi and award-winning Oklahoma moviemaker Sterlin Harjo.As previously reported, Waititi ("Thor: Ragnarok," "Jojo Rabbit"), who is of Maori ancestry, and Harjo ("Mekko," "Barking Water"), who is a member of the Seminole and Creek nations, are set to write and executive produce the planned limited series titled "Reservation Dogs," which will be set in Oklahoma, with filming in Oklahoma early next year.The series follows four teenagers on adventures and misadventures in their rural Oklahoma town, according to a casting bulletin.Casting for lead roles in the network television pilot begins this week, with four casting calls planned around Oklahoma Saturday through Nov.Read more on NewsOK.com
