Oklahoma Elections: Voters Reject Efforts By Disgraced Former Sheriffs To Win Back Posts

Contentious sheriffs' races highlighted a busy election night for county officials around the state as hundreds of candidates for sheriff, county commissioner, court clerk and county clerk sought favor with voters. Overall, it was a great day for incumbent county officer candidates Tuesday, as most either won re-election or made it into runoffs.
