By Brandy McDonnell Features Writer bmcdonnell@oklahoman.com Hips swaying and hands clapping, a dozen women step, turn and slide to the raucous rhythm of the Kentucky Headhunters' twangy tune “Dumas Walker.” Often crooning along to the lyrics, the group executes its fancy footwork with the energy and enthusiasm of teenagers, evoking smiles, tapping toes and the occasional whoop of encouragement during a recent performance at the Town Village retirement community. “You're flat-out wearing me out,” Dora Jones, 87, an independent living resident, playfully calls to the group before commenting to a friend, “They're not far from our age.” The Older and Bolder Dancers of Oklahoma City may tear up a dance floor with the vigor of youngsters, but the nonprofit dance troupe is made up of women and men 62 and older.Read more on NewsOK.com
