And the nimble, thoughtful efforts shine throughout the offerings at the 39th Denver Film Festival (starting Wednesday, through Nov. 13). But what about us, the excited, slightly overwhelmed fest-goers? From opening night’s screening of “La La Land” to a very bustling closing, we have to figure a way to shrink the fantastic beast’s offerings down into a more manageable, personalized festival.
