By Lisa Kennedy, Special to The Denver Post Sure, programming a film festival is demanding work. And the nimble, thoughtful efforts shine throughout the offerings at the 39th Denver Film Festival (starting Wednesday, through Nov. 13). But what about us, the excited, slightly overwhelmed fest-goers? From opening night’s screening of “La La Land” to a very bustling closing, we have to figure a way to shrink the fantastic beast’s offerings down into a more manageable, personalized festival.
