One person was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon in a three-vehicle wreck at South Western Street and Cougar Drive, Amarillo police said. About 4:30 p.m., a gray SUV was driving eastbound on Cougar and failed to yield to a red light, causing a white sedan headed south on Western to hit the SUV and then hit another SUV that was headed north on Western. The driver of the sedan was hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening and the driver of the gray SUV was cited in the wreck, police said.
