Orange County Democrats Endorse Broge For Assembly Seat Vacated By Skoufis

Orange County Democrats endorsed party chairman Brett Broge on Wednesday to run for the Assembly seat that opened up less than two weeks ago with Assemblyman James Skoufis' decision to run for state Senate.Broge, an attorney and Blooming Grove resident who has led the county's Democratic Committee since 2014, stepped forward only recently to seek the 99th Assembly District seat and had no competition for the endorsement at his party's convention in the Town of Wallkill.
