By John Helsley Staff Writer jhelsley@oklahoman.comSTILLWATER — Mitchell Solomon woke up Saturday reflecting a bit on Friday's disappointment in the NCAA Tournament, but also flipping forward. “Not a great mood, but excited to think about next year, get to work on next year,” Solomon said. The mood would worsen. Soon a group phone text summoned Solomon and the rest of the Oklahoma State basketball team to an unscheduled meeting at 3 p.m., although again thoughts turned to next season. “We all figured it was going to be about our offseason, take a couple weeks off and then get back to it,” he said. “That was not what the meeting was about.” Of course, the meeting brought the news that coach Brad Underwood was leaving, a message delivered in a short, four-sentence address from Underwood, leaving Cowboys players in stunning silence. “Didn't really know what to say,” the junior forward said, presenting a player perspective for the first time Wednesday, serving as a sort of team spokesman.Read more on NewsOK.com
