She's opened several homes for older adults, relying on the generosity of donors and faithful volunteers but doing a lot of the day-to-day work herself with her trademark cheer. She's worked alongside Catholic Heart Workcamp youths and adult advisers to create hundreds of brick-like blocks of dirt to be use for a hermitage. She's walked the length of a property her ministry couldn't seem to afford and eventually saw the land and the expansive property that came with it purchased by a donor.
