The first trailer for the Lion King prequel/sequel, Mufasa: The Lion King, has quickly sparked some heated reactions onlinemany of them taking aim at the CGI on display. Set to be helmed by Moonlight director Barry Jenkins, Mufasa: The Lion King will tell the tale of the titular lion king while also introducing audiences to the daughter of Simba and Nala, a role that it has now been revealed will be voiced by Blue Ivy Carter.

It is now over a year since James Gunn and Peter Safran laid out the first details of their plans for the new DCU franchise, and Gunn is still fending off rumors and conspiracy theories around the events that saw Henry Cavill leaving the franchise to be replaced by a new incoming cast led by David Corenswet.

As per a report by Deadline, 28 Years Later will be led by Kraven the Hunter and Kick-Ass star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Killing Eve star and Emmy Award winner Jodie Comer, and Academy Award nominee Ralph Fiennes.

Director, writer, and producer Joe Russo has offered a promising update on the development of the Netflix action sequel Extraction 3.
