Democrat Conor Lamb and Republican Rick Saccone were in a tight congressional race that pitted the strength of President Trump in blue-collar America against the eager and angry political left. The race late Tuesday had Lamb leading Saccone by 847 votes. Some absentee ballots were not expected to be counted until Wednesday morning, and the final result could be decided by a recount.
