In an attempt to be cool and modern — i.e., use computers instead of people — the industry screwed consumers and kept doing it until they were threatened with being yanked to the curb after years of increasing prices, mark-ups, and hassles.

Colorado’s summer hailstorms can cause hundreds of millions in damage in the span of a few minutes, often leaving damaged roofs and dented vehicles in their wake.

Trump addressed reporters at his namesake tower in Manhattan Friday, returning to campaigning a day after he was convicted of trying to illegally influence the 2016 election by falsifying business records to hide money paid to a porn actor who claimed they had sex.
The Republican ex-president, as defiant as ever, argued the verdict was illegitimate and driven by politics and sought to downplay the facts underlying the case.

COMMERCE CITY — Police in Colorado say a man’s sturdy necklace probably saved his life by blocking a bullet fired at his neck.
