Pension Board Drops Convicted Contra Costa Firefighter's Annual Payment From $116k To $30k

Retired Contra Costa Fire Capt. Jon Wilmot, convicted of felony embezzlement, was one of the first public employees to have their pensions reduced based on the California Public Employees' Pension Reform Act of 2013. Wilmot fought the move Wednesday before the Contra Costa County Employees' Retirement Association board, but lost.
