Pepco Applies To Launch Electric Car Pilot Program

WASHINGTON (AP) — The power utility in Washington wants to expand infrastructure for electric cars in the city. Pepco submitted a proposal to city regulators on Tuesday to launch a pilot program to provide discounted rates and other amenities to electric car owners. If regulators approve the program, 100 Pepco customers who already have equipment to charge their vehicles will be eligible for a special rate for the power they use.Read more on NewsOK.com
