A man was struck by a Caltrain late Tuesday night in San Bruno, authorities said. The age and identity of the person was not immediately available. He was taken to a local hospital, where his condition was not known. The incident happened when a southbound train hit a “person who was on the tracks illegally” at 10:03 p.m., said Caltrain spokeswoman Tasha Bartholomew. The circumstances leading up to the collision under investigation, Bartholomew said. Trains were stopped in both directions, and a bus bridge was being planned, she said. Henry K.
