Royal Philips, an Amsterdam-based company with a large manufacturing presence in the Pittsburgh region, partnered with the U.S. Government to further increase its production of ventilators, desperately needed to care for patients with COVID- 19, according to Steve Klink, head of Philips’ global press office.   In March, Philips reached capacity to produce 1,000 ventilators per week.
