Tanya Smith is getting permits to operate an event center in a historic building in Old Sacramento that may host banquets, performances and a cigar lounge. The Old Sacramento Event & Conference Center is at 910 Second St. in the historic district. It includes rooms on the basement level and on a second floor of an 1880s building.
