Pickup Truck Crashes Into Spring Grove-area Home, Pins Sleeping Woman

A Fox Lake man is facing a felony charge after police said he drove his pickup truck into a home near Spring Grove, pinning a woman under it. At about 1:45 a.m. Sunday, Lake County Sheriff's deputies responded to a vehicle versus house crash in the 28900 block of South Avenue in unincorporated Spring Grove, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. Deputies discovered a white 2009 GMC pick-up intruded several feet into the home and a 71-year-old woman, who had been sleeping at the time of the crash, pinned under the truck.
