WORCESTER, Mass. — Police say 16 gang members and associates have been arrested on firearms charges after a months-long investigation.The U.S. Attorney's Office says eight firearms were recovered, including large-capacity weapons and police say five of the gang members were either victims or perpetrators of past gun violence.Worcester Police said in a statement Tuesday night that police aggressively targeted gun violence over the summer after seeing a spike in shootings.
