Police tonight arrested a driver who was barricaded inside of a vehicle that crashed in Sterling Heights after a lengthy chase.According to broadcast news reports, the unidentified driver surrendered by crawling through the windshield and dropping his gun on the ground about 11:45 p.m. on 16 Mile Road west of Schoenherr Road.
