Detectives say the bodies found in a Windsor Forest house this spring have been identified as a mother and son who died by murder-suicide. Investigators determined that Ralph Terrill, 50, killed his mother, 80-year-old Patricia Witherspoon before killing himself in the home they shared on the 12000 block of Sunnybrook Road, said Julian Miller, Savannah-Chatham police spokesman. Police discovered a history of abuse of the woman in the house, which had been barricaded from the inside, Miller said. Terrill and Witherspoon were discovered inside the home April 18.
