A Perryton man connected to two homicides in the Texas Panhandle was arrested Saturday morning in Oldham County, Texas Department of Public Safety officials said. Abdon Ponce Jr., 38, who was wanted for questioning, is in custody at Oldham County jail on a separate charge, DPS said. The Thursday slayings occurred in Lipscomb and Hansford counties. Anyone with information on the deaths is asked to call DPS at 806-468-1394.
