MANCHESTER — Police are searching for a man who robbed the Camden National Bank branch on Pond Road in Manchester on Friday. Members of the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office and Maine State Police were at the bank around noontime, and several officers appeared to be using a police dog to search the area. The robber told a teller at the bank that he was carrying a gun, said Kennebec County Sheriff Ryan Reardon, but the man did not show a weapon to the bank teller.
