WILKES-BARRE — Police cited a city man after he displayed a handgun during a dispute July 5 on Hazle Street and Dana Street. Police said at approximately 1:14 p.m. on July 5, a neighbor reported there was a dispute involving a firearm. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the parties involved in the argument and confirmed that George Shannon, 59, flashed a handgun during the fight but did not threaten anyone, according to police.
