Police: Dog Attack In Newtown Left Woman With 'severe' Facial And Head Injuries

Synan said that several people at the apartment complex tried to catch the dog when it got loose. When the woman stopped the dog, she knelt down next to the animal to wait for its owner and the dog attacked her.
