AVOCA — A Duryea man is facing charges after he allegedly boarded a school bus and threatened students after being told his granddaughter was being bullied. Police said Christopher McCauley, 41, of Main Street, Duryea, was arrested by the Avoca Police Department Wednesday for boarding a school bus at the intersection of Plane and Main Streets after receiving a call from his granddaughter, who claimed she was being bullied and written-up for allegedly standing on the bus. McCauley allegedly boarded the bus, shouted obscenities at the students and the bus driver.
