The victim of a fatal Sunday evening crash in Harvard has been identified as a 29-year-old Niles man, who was the passenger in a vehicle that struck a tree, police say. The driver of the vehicle, a 32-year-old man also from Niles, was flown to Javon Bea Hospital – Riverside in Rockford with serious injuries, according to a news release the McHenry County Sheriff's Department sent Monday. The McHenry County Coroner's Office has declined to provide information about the crash.
