The burglary happened early Sunday morning. The man cut through an exterior wall to get inside.

  • Maine man who fled in handcuffs is captured in Portland
    Jason Langdon, the man who escaped from a Maine State Police cruiser while still in handcuffs in Chelsea Wednesday, has been captured. An unsuspecting motorist gave Langdon a ride to Portland and dropped him off at a homeless shelter, according to a press release from Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety. As Europe marks the centenary of the war, Treasury chief George Osborne said Friday the government plans to redeem some National War Bonds issued in 1917 when it refinances 218 million pounds of debt issued as far back as the 18th century.
