During the past year at Port Columbus, a new $12.5 million hotel opened, a $130 million runway improvement project was completed and an $80 million terminal renovation passed the halfway mark. But perhaps the most important number, and one that perhaps pleased airport officials most, was the increase in passenger traffic — a signal that the economy is picking up.
