Portland Planning New Commission To Draw Public Input On Police Reforms

The new group would be called "Portland Commission on Community-Engaged Policing,'' and be made up of five to nine members, according to the mayor's office. It would meet twice a month, but those meetings would not be open to the public. The commission would hold quarterly town hall meetings that are public.
