SYDNEY (AP) — Wellington striker Blake Powell scored four goals to lead the Phoenix to a 5-2 win over Western Sydney, preventing the Wanderers from moving into first place in the A-League. Before the game, police warned they would shut down games after Western Sydney fans lit 25 flares and set off detonators inside Melbourne's Etihad Stadium during last weekend's match against the Victory. "Given the circumstances we found ourselves in after last week's incidents involving a section of Western Sydney Wanderers supporters at Etihad Stadium, it's staggering that some Victory fans chose to act in this way," FFA chief executive David Gallop said.
