Southeast Texas temperatures could fall to the low-40s Friday night, bringing a chill to costumed candy seekers and spectators at high-school football games, but rain is not expected, according to a National Weather Service outlook. Tim Humphrey, a NWS meteorologist, said the cooler air is part of a secondary cold front on the heels of one that passed through the region Wednesday.
