A Castle Rock man pleaded guilty on Monday to stabbing his mother to death before setting a house on fire in 2022. A teen with developmental disabilities was reported missing in Loveland on Monday, according to an endangered missing alert from the Johnstown Police Department. Tristan Bridges-Taapken, 15, was last seen Sunday around 6:30 p.m. at the Target on Rocky Mountain Avenue in Loveland, police say. He is described as a 5-foot, 10-inch, 150-pound white boy with brown hair and brown eyes.

Part of the Regional Transportation District’s A Line light rail train will be replaced by shuttle buses on Tuesday for maintenance, according to a Monday RTD news release. Shuttle buses will run between Union and Central Park stations from 2:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday while RTD repairs a signal issue near the 38th/Blake Station.
