More than 700 runners and walkers took to the streets of Riverside Saturday morning during JASMYN’s third annual Strides for Pride 5K Walk/Run. JASMYN is the Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. “I’m trying to make a statement,” Joseph Lucas said as he prepared to run in a tutu. He was accompanied by his sister, Angela TenBroeck, who is lesbian. “She’s out here to support me,” Lucas said.
