PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The police Sunday identified a man found shot to death on Hillcrest Avenue in the Manton neighborhood Saturday morning as a 48 year-old Providence resident.Robert Denson was found lying on the sidewalk on a section of Hillcrest that passes by some woods, said Providence Police Maj. David Lapatin.Denson is the city's 13th homicide victim of 2015.Lapatin did not release Denson's address, but said he did not live near where he was found.
