Public Need For Pipeline Challenged

More than 60 people packed a public hearing Wednesday evening about a proposed petroleum pipeline that will run through 210 miles of Georgia. Kinder Morgan plans to build the 16-inch diameter steel pipeline to bring gasoline, ethanol and diesel from the Gulf Coast and from South Carolina to North Augusta, S.C., Savannah and Jacksonville.
