Stories Related to Public Tobacco Use To Be Restricted In Mt. Pleasant

Mt. Pleasant city commissioners are considering a tobacco-free policy in parks and other public places. Voting to approve the policy as presented by the Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation Commission, commissioners moved the policy forward to be planned and implemented this year. Without any formal penalties for smokers using tobacco products in city parks and other areas where children play, the policy would engage the community in enforcement.
