The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is investigating a subsidence reported near a part of the Mariner East pipeline system in southeastern Pennsylvania. A subsidence on the right-of-way for the Sunoco GRE Pipeline was reported Wednesday in the area of Route 1 in Middletown Township, Delaware County. GRE is a 12-inch pipeline that carries petroleum and highly volatile liquids, a Mariner East 2 bypass line, according to the PUC. No one was injured, and there were no leaks.
