Two marathons aren’t enough for Andre Travis, who has severe cerebral palsy and has been in a wheelchair most of his life.On Saturday, the 32-year-old Akron man will be part of a team participating in a half Ironman competition — a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride and a 13.1 mile run.Making all of this possible is Zeke Petrie of Barberton, who will pull a raft — with Andre on board — while swimming, and who will pedal a bicycle hooked up to cart with Andre inside.“We’ve got to do it all in eight hours — it’s 70.3 miles total,” Zeke, 41, said this week before the two left Wednesday for Indiana, where the Ironman 70.3 event will take place. If they go the distance in eight hours or less, they’ll qualify for a full Ironman competition in Wisconsin — a precursor to the marquee event in Hawaii.
