OTTAWA — A Putnam County judge has ruled that an illegal firearm obtained during a traffic stop cannot be admitted into evidence, as the arresting officer executed an unlawful search and seizure. On Oct. 21, Gregory Hister was the passenger in a vehicle that was traveling southbound on state Route 115, just north of Kalida, when the driver was pulled over for speeding.
