Putnam County Woman's Death Ruled Homicide

The district medical examiner has officially ruled the death of a 52-year-old Interlachen woman as a homicide. Following the autopsy of Maureen Haugdahl, Putnam County authorties decided not to release the cause of death in order to maintain the integrity of the investigation, the Sheriff's Office said. Deputies responded to Haugdahl's Arnold Street home Sunday to conduct a welfare check at the request of a family member and found her dead. Anyone with information in the case can call the Sheriff’s Office at (386) 329-0800 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 277-TIPS (8477).
