Race Team Alliance Says Aim Is To Promote Sport

LOUDON, N.H. (AP) — The chairman of the new Race Team Alliance says the group would allow other NASCAR teams to join and is focused on promoting the sport. Rob Kauffman says the group is not immediately trying to renegotiate the teams' cut of an $8.2 billion television package that kicks in next year.
