Inside the Rapids’ group, Minnesota United had to cancel a pre-tournament friendly due to positive tests, while Sporting Kansas City announced a positive test of its own Friday. Games in the group stage will also count in the regular season standings, though the Rapids’ matchup with rival Real Salt Lake will not factor into the Rocky Mountain Cup.
