Recital To Benefit Winchester Mother Seeking Kidney

Kara Yimoyines, a Winchester resident and mother of three, is in need of a kidney. A benefit recital with opera, cabaret and musical theater is set for 6 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Winchester Unitarian Society, 478 Main St.Yimoyines was diagnosed with lupus at age 16 and her kidney function is currently at 11 percent; she is facing dialysis, which she had hoped to avoid.
