FROGTOWN — A pall hung over the 90th edition of Calaveras County’s annual jumping frog contest with the news that one of the event’s top young competitors from a legacy family died unexpectedly Saturday night.Casey Nash was just 24 years old and was ranked seventh out of 50 frog jockeys entering Sunday’s International Finals of the Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee.
