Recreational Pot Shop Ban Headed To Winchester Town Meeting

Despite projected state tax revenues reaching approximately $90 million in 2018 alone, town officials in Winchester say the ban on recreational marijuana shops is likely still to come.Last November, Massachusetts voters legalized the use of marijuana for adults over the age of 21, with legal pot sales expected to begin in July 2018.Winchester residents voted against legalizing marijuana by a wide margin — 7,107 to 5,312.
